Lead Electrical Delivery on a Major Hyperscale Data Center

Preston Recruitment is partnering with a leading electrical contractor to appoint an experienced

Electrical Superintendent for a major hyperscale data center development in Loudoun County, Virginia.

This is an opportunity to lead the electrical delivery of a hyperscale facility, overseeing complex power distribution and mission-critical infrastructure within one of the world’s most established data center markets.

As Electrical Superintendent, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of all on-site

electrical construction activities. You will lead field teams and subcontractors, coordinate installation sequencing and ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and in line with the project schedule.

Working closely with Project Management, other trade partners and commissioning teams, you will

drive productivity, resolve field challenges and oversee the project through testing, energization and final closeout.

• Oversee all day-to-day electrical construction activities.
• Lead electrical foremen, subcontractors and field personnel.
• Develop short-term work plans and coordinate manpower requirements.
• Manage the installation of power distribution and mission critical electrical systems.
• Monitor productivity, quality and progress against the construction schedule.
• Coordinate material, equipment and site access requirements.
• Ensure installations comply with drawings, specifications and applicable electrical codes.
• Collaborate with mechanical, controls and other trade partners.
• Identify and resolve constructability and field-related issues.
• Conduct field inspections and maintain site safety expectations.
• Assist with testing, energization, commissioning and final turnover.
• Provide regular progress updates to Project Management.
