As a Home Service Technician, you'll use your skills and experience to help homeowners maintain, repair, and improve their homes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform a wide variety of home repairs, maintenance, and improvement projects

• Complete work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality

• Help improve home safety and accessibility for seniors aging in place

• Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers

• Identify problems and recommend practical solutions

• Maintain a clean and organized jobsite

• Work independently while also collaborating with the Tru Blue team

• Represent Tru Blue as a professional, dependable, and trustworthy Home Service Ally

Our technicians work on a variety of residential projects, including:

• General carpentry

• Drywall repair and patching

• Flooring installation and repair

• Interior and exterior painting

• Bathroom and kitchen upgrades

• General home repairs and maintenance

• Basic plumbing

• Basic electrical work within the appropriate scope

• Home safety and accessibility improvements

• Other residential repair and improvement projects

Every home and every project is different. We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with their hands, and leaving every customer with a job well done.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years of paid experience in home repair, remodeling, handyman services, or a related trade

• Strong general home repair and maintenance skills

• A commitment to quality, safety, and doing the job right

• A strong work ethic and reliable attendance

• The ability to work independently and manage projects effectively

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• A courteous, professional, and respectful attitude

• The ability to work comfortably in customers' homes

• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Fluent English communication skills

• Legal authorization to work in the United States
