BRCC is seeking a full-time Senior Plumber to join our team to assist with skilled maintenance and repair tasks on a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment.

Job duties- Install, alter, maintain, and repair a variety of plumbing apparatuses including, but not limited to, sinks, toilets, shower units, faucets, mixing valves, recirculation pumps, water heaters, automatic faucets, and automatic flush valves.
- Maintain fire suppression system including system inspections.
- Make repairs and alterations to a variety of piping systems.
- Clear drain lines using a variety of equipment.
- Maintain, install, and repair appliances which includes, but is not limited to, washing machines, dryers, dishwashing machines, and water fountains.
- Assist other trades as needed and perform general maintenance and repair tasks.
- Assist with event set ups, office moves, snow removal and other departmental tasks.
- Advanced knowledge of and demonstrated experience with commercial and/or institutional plumbing, steam equipment, fire sprinklers, related appliances, welding, soldering, plumbing code and safety standards
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized trade equipment
- Competent understanding of building systems, mechanical equipment, and facility infrastructure
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices and procedures related to plumbing
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and specifications
- Basic knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and work order tracking (or ability to easily learn)
- Working knowledge across multiple trades disciplines
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication, organization and time management skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, climbing, and working in elevated spaces
- Valid driver’s license, full background check and driving record check are all required
Helpful, but not required:
- Master level certificate in plumbing, or ability to obtain
- Backflow Certification
- Gas Fitters Certification
