The Department of Parks Recreation and Community Facilities is seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill the position of Maintenance Technician (Trails). This job class maintains and makes repairs for the City of Richmond’s parks, specialized equipment, and facilities through the performance of skilled labor and technical work.

Incumbents will serve as crew members under the guidance of Labor Crew Chief and Tech Senior. Work may include assessing and identifying repair needs and recommending action; providing maintenance and minor repairs on equipment and parts; operating assigned light and heavy equipment, machinery, or shop equipment; maintaining records and inventory; recommending equipment and supply purchases; maintaining cleanliness of work areas, tools, and equipment;
