Wastewater Maintenance Technician

We are currently looking for a reliable individual with a strong mechanical aptitude to join our team as a Wastewater Maintenance Technician
. In this role, you will play a key part in the daily operation, oversight, and upkeep of our wastewater treatment infrastructure. The perfect candidate will possess solid mechanical expertise and feel confident in their ability to resolve issues with electrical control panels, pumps, and other essential machinery.

• Oversee and preserve the functionality of wastewater treatment systems and machinery.
• Examine and resolve technical challenges related to motors, pumps, and electrical control panels to ensure operational uptime.
• Utilize a multimeter to evaluate electrical parts, helping to pinpoint and resolve equipment failures.
• Detect mechanical or electrical faults and execute fundamental troubleshooting steps.
• Keep a close watch on machinery to verify that all systems are functioning at peak performance.
• Carry out regular maintenance checks and preventative service tasks.
• Communicate any equipment failures or maintenance issues to the appropriate team members.
• Help maintain a safe and orderly work environment for the entire team.
• Adhere to all established safety protocols and organizational guidelines.
• Execute various other maintenance and wastewater-related tasks as directed.

• Proven mechanical proficiency and a strong ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Demonstrated competence in the operation and interpretation of multimeter readings.
• Background in diagnosing industrial machinery, including motors, pumps, and control cabinets.
• Capacity to recognize and address standard electrical and mechanical malfunctions.
• Prior experience in industrial maintenance, wastewater operations, or manufacturing is highly valued.
• Ability to work autonomously while strictly following provided instructions.
