This position works with adults with a substance abuse disorder, enhancing their quality of life. You will conduct initial and ongoing assessments of client strengths, substance abuse, mental health treatment needs, and biopsychosocial histories. You will meet with clients regularly to provide individual and group counseling, intervention techniques, and relapse prevention planning.

• CAC-I, CAC-II, GCADC-I, CADC, CADC‑T or CCIT
• Communicate effectively in writing and orally
• Have an understanding of and sensitivity to serving the culturally diverse and dual diagnosed mental health population
• Valid Georgia Driver’s License and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Clean Criminal Background Check (no conviction or credible evidence of abuse, neglect, or sexual exploitation)
