Frontend Developer (React / AWS)

McLean, VA or Richmond, VA (Hybrid – local candidates only)

Duration: 12+ Months (Extension Possible)

The client is building a new frontend engineering team focused on delivering modern, responsive, and high-performing user experiences. This role emphasizes React-based development with integration to AWS cloud services, working closely with backend and product teams in an Agile environment.

• Strong hands-on experience with React
• Solid knowledge of HTML & CSS
• Experience integrating frontend applications with AWS-hosted services / APIs
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams

• Design and develop modern web applications using React
• Build reusable and scalable UI components
• Collaborate with backend engineers and product teams
• Integrate frontend applications with cloud-based APIs
• Ensure performance, scalability, and accessibility best practices
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers
• Stay current with frontend technologies and industry best practices
