Position: Principal, Modern Applications (Full Stack Development)

Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished Principal Consultant to join our Modern Apps team and use their specialized expertise in designing, developing, and implementing full-stack applications for our clients  will collaborate with both the sales and delivery teams to craft technical solutions that align with our client needs. Your role will involve leading front-end and full-stack development on projects as well as creating repeatable client solutions, ensuring exceptional user experiences, and guiding junior developers at times.

As a pivotal member of our team, you will serve as a modern applications solution architect, creating impressive interfaces for Lovelytics Gen AI tools and IP development.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of complex web applications using React, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and an exceptional user experience.
  • Collaborate with sales and consulting teams to develop technical solutions that meet client needs. Participate in client meetings to understand requirements and provide technical expertise during the proposal phase.
  • Review, refine, and approve technical proposals to ensure alignment with client requirements and company capabilities. Provide insights and recommendations to improve proposal quality and success rates.
  • Engage in full-stack development activities, including backend integration with Databricks, to create seamless data-driven applications.
  • Define and implement best practices in front-end architecture, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance of applications.
  • Mentor and guide other developers by leading code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards, ultimately fostering a team culture of accountability and high performance.
  • Act as a technical liaison for clients, translating technical requirements into functional solutions. Provide ongoing support and consultation as needed.

Required

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer science or related field.
  • 8+ years of Full Stack Engineering experience, with at least 4 years in a traditional consulting environment and role.
  • Extensive experience with React, including state management, component design, and performance optimization.
  • Ability to design and implement scalable and maintainable front‑end architectures with a proficient understanding of UI/UX principles and the ability to collaborate with design teams to create user‑centric interfaces.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Type Script, HTML, CSS, and related frameworks/libraries. Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, or similar.
  • Proven experience working with Databricks, including data integration and visualization within front‑end applications.
  • In-depth experience with cloud platforms, specifically Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including deploying and managing front‑end applications.
  • Experience in developing, reviewing, and approving technical proposals, particularly in a pre‑sales environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, mentor developers, and manage client relationships.
  • Expertise in SQL, Python, or Scala for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, crucial for effective client interaction and management.
