Digital Engineer​/MBSE Analyst

Required Qualifications

• Associates degree and 10+ years of experience in a Systems Engineering related field; OR bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cloud Computing, or related field and 8+ years of experience in a Systems Engineering related field; OR a master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cloud Computing, or related field and 6+ years of experience in a systems engineering related field;
  
  OR a Ph.D. and 3+ years of experience. Additional four (4) years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
• This position requires the candidate possess a minimum of Top Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI. The candidate must maintain the clearance
• 2+ years of experience applying MBSE in complex system environments.
• Experience developing and supporting systems‑engineering processes across the full system lifecycle, including analysis, planning, design, development, deployment, integration, testing, or configuration of software.
• Expertise using the Cameo Systems Modeler suite of tools.

• Experience with MBSE validation suites.
• Experience generating documents or specifications directly from MBSE models.
• Experience with MBSE model federation.
• Experience developing MBSE style guides or modeling standards.

• Help lead technical planning and execution of digital‑twin efforts in support of program objectives.
• Support the development of digital‑twin concepts, architectures, use cases, and technical roadmaps in collaboration with engineering and program teams.
• Assist in adapting Peraton Labs’ agentic AI and digital‑twin capabilities to meet program‑specific needs.
• Define component‑level requirements derived from operational needs, systems‑engineering objectives, system behaviors, and stakeholder priorities.
• Ensure compliance with model‑interoperability approaches, data‑exchange patterns, fidelity expectations, and integration guidance across digital‑twin and simulation environments.
• Work with data, AI/ML, software, and systems‑engineering teams to identify and integrate required data sources, dependencies, model inputs and outputs, assumptions, and validation methods.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, sequencing concerns, integration challenges, and capability gaps associated with digital‑twin development.
• Ensure digital‑twin efforts remain aligned with program objectives, Model‑Based Systems Engineering practices, CTO advanced‑analytics initiatives, and stakeholder needs.
