- Design, implement, and operate Python-based playbooks, actions, integrations, and agents on the Luna platform
- Partner directly with GSOC CSIRT analysts and incident responders to translate their tradecraft into trustworthy, auditable automation
- Extend Luna's agentic capabilities into the Gov Cloud environment
- Use AI-assisted software development tooling fluently and intentionally
- Drive end-to-end ownership of the work you build: scoping, design, implementation, testing, deployment, observability, on-call support, and post-incident hardening
- Raise the bar for the team's engineering practices
- Support the team's engineering excellence by performing code reviews and mentoring other engineers
- Business hour on-call to support software services owned by the team
- Build and ship high-quality, production-grade software using modern engineering practices.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- strong track record of shipping production Python
- Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD systems used in regulated deployments
- Hands-on experience building automation, integrations, or backend services that interact with multiple third-party APIs
- A demonstrated, genuine AI-first approach to engineering.
- Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, Git Hub Copilot, Codex, Cursor, etc.) in development workflows
- Advanced prompt engineering skills
- Experience reviewing AI-generated code
- Strong fundamentals: clean code, thoughtful API design, testing, version control, CI/CD, observability
- Experience with public cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
