Truck Driver

Service Center Metals is seeking an Experienced CDL Truck Driver based out of our state-of-the-art aluminum extrusion and billet facility located in Prince George, VA.

Candidate requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
• 2+ years of verifiable commercial driving experience (flatbed or local haul preferred)
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety procedures
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Ability to perform basic truck maintenance and pre/post-trip inspections
• Must be able to lift and secure loads as required
• Be dependable and accountable

Skills/Abilities:

• Experience with flatbed
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
• Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Self-directed and motivated
• Ability to manage time efficiently and meet delivery schedules

This position involves transporting materials using a company tractor-trailer as an over-the-road/line haul driver.
