Mobile Medical Trailer Truck Driver (CDL Dedicated Routes – Full Time Nights)
Location:
Petersburg, VA. Compensation: $27–$33 per hour depending on experience and location.

Shift & ScheduleStart: 2PM – 6PM;
Finish: 12AM – 4AM. Employees work 8‑10 hour shifts 4‑5 times a week, including weeknights and some weekend nights.
- Drive and safely operate tractor trailers configured for mobile medical imaging units (MRI, PET & CT).
- Transport 1–2 trailers per night to hospitals and medical clinics based on scheduled appointments.
- Arrive at designated parking location daily to pick up the truck, then drive to client sites.
- Unload or pack up trailers, setting up and tearing down equipment (30–45 minutes).
- Ensure trailers are securely connected and parked.
- Comply with ICC and DOT regulations and make safety a priority.
- Monitor, report, and repair any mechanical or safety issue that could affect safe transport.
- Perform quality‑assurance checks on equipment after arrival when required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL‑A) and DOT medical certification.
- 1‑2 years of tractor trailer experience with automatic transmission (2 years preferred).
- Clean DOT driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 100lbs. (e.g., patient lift 30–60lbs; stair 30–50lbs; electrical cord 30lbs).
- Background check and drug test clearance.
- Comfortable transporting, loading, and setting up medical diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to drive safely and avoid damage to equipment or client property.
- Prepared to work nights with exposure to magnetic fields or environmental hazards such as noise.
- Skilled at driving and parking large heavy tractor trailers.
$27–$33 per hour depending on experience and location. Additional benefits include paid training, 401(k), health, vision, and dental insurance, and paid time off.
