• Promote safety by prioritizing safety throughout the operation, following MSHA and Vulcan standards.
• Operate ready‑mix truck in compliance with federal, state, and Vulcan regulations; receive loads, evaluate slump, and drive to job site.
• Maneuver truck on job site, attach chutes, discharge material, and conduct cleaning to minimize concrete buildup.
• Perform thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, complete daily mobile equipment reports, and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Complete required paperwork, service reports, tickets, and documents to ensure proper record keeping.
• Coordinate with dispatch, maintenance, and plant management for efficient information flow and customer service.
• Perform physical activities such as cleaning vehicle areas, climbing ladders, hanging mixer chutes, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Commercial driver’s license with valid DOT physical.
• Knowledge of ready‑mix truck operations and servicing; knowledge of DOT rules is a plus.
• Willingness to work overtime and extended hours; ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and tolerate loud noises.
• Strong customer focus and representation of Vulcan on job sites.
• Clean and safe driving record.
