Job Summary

To operate and maintain a roll‑off truck in picking up refuse at sites in the County.

• Physical Requirements: Operative work requiring exertion of up to and exceeding 50 pounds occasionally and a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to move objects.
• Certification: CDL

• Operate roll‑off truck designed to pick up refuse containers at sites in areas of the County
• Perform pre‑trip inspections of the vehicle
• Maintain trucks and equipment as needed
• Remove waste and recyclables from various sites to the Landfill or approved vendor
• Perform related tasks as required

• Relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions

• Control operations of equipment or systems
• Watch gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly
• Monitor/Assess performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action

• Quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a machine or a vehicle to exact positions
• Regular work attendance is required
