VDOT in Virginia is seeking skilled equipment operators and maintenance workers to perform operation and maintenance of light, medium, and heavy highway equipment, preventive maintenance, and manual labor on roadway projects, including emergency operations such as snow removal and accident clean-up.
Applicants must follow safety rules, wear PPE, manage work zone safety per MUTCD, and be able to read plans, work in a team, and obtain a CDL and DOT medical card within 11 months.
