Driver/Transportation Coordinator - Full-Time (STNA Required)

Job OverviewAt Sunrise Manor, we're committed to providing exceptional care to our residents. As a Driver/Transportation Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in safely transporting residents to medical appointments, social outings, and facility-related activities while delivering courteous, professional service.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule and coordinate transportation for residents to medical appointments, social events, and other outings
- Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and facility policies
- Assist residents in and out of vehicles, ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety at all times
- Perform basic vehicle checks and coordinate routine maintenance to keep vehicles in safe working order
- Maintain accurate records of trips, schedules, mileage, and vehicle maintenance
- Communicate professionally with residents, families, and staff to confirm and update transportation needs
- Follow all healthcare, infection control, and transportation regulations and policies
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Current STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant) certification required
- Previous experience as a driver, transportation aide, or similar role in healthcare preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to assist residents with mobility needs and perform light vehicle upkeep
- Professional, patient, and respectful demeanor with residents, families, and coworkers
