Waste Water Collections Operator - Virginia

The City of Virginia is seeking a skilled Waste Water Collections Operator to join our Public Works team. This position performs skilled work maintaining and operating the City's sanitary and storm sewer collection systems, including lift stations, pumps, motors, generators, and related equipment. Duties include operating sewer maintenance equipment, clearing and inspecting sewer lines, monitoring lift stations, responding to sewer emergencies, and assisting with other Public Works activities.

Candidates should have wastewater collection system experience and experience operating a sewer vactor truck. A valid Minnesota Class B CDL with Air Brake and Tanker endorsements is required, along with a Minnesota Class S-C Collection System License or the ability to obtain one with qualifying experience. This position includes a scheduled on-call rotation and requires emergency response availability.
