ADUSA Distribution, a part of Ahold Delhaize USA, provides distribution services to leading grocery retail brands, managing fresh, frozen, grocery, and health & beauty care products across its network.
Primary PurposeAs an Inventory Support Associate, you will perform a wide variety of duties to maintain and control accurate levels of inventory in grocery and perishable warehouses, including evaluating discrepancies, entering data into warehouse systems, auditing outbound cases, providing technical support, and communicating with customers across the supply chain.
Duties and Responsibilities- Maintain accurate inventory of all departments within the distribution center
- Perform quality control and auditing responsibilities
- Conduct perpetual cycle counts and all supplemental count requirements within established time frames
- Monitor warehouse damage and initiate resolution
- Notify appropriate department leads for product discrepancies
- Utilize reports to assist Distribution in investigating and expediting issues related to inventory discrepancies and audit results
- Maintain accurate, organized files for all department responsibilities for efficient access to necessary information
- Perform daily warehouse responsibilities in areas related to shipping, receiving, and/or inventory management within established time frames
- Recommend modifications to procedures or processes impacting work groups or the distribution center that will maximize efficiency, productivity, and reduce costs
- Ensure compliance with company standards in the areas of accuracy, safety, and productivity
- Highly motivated self-starter and team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Able to reach, stoop, bend, and lift up to and including 60 lbs.
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to work in a warehouse environment with varying conditions (e.g., cool temperatures, concrete floors, powered industrial trucks)
- High School Education or equivalent
- Certified on powered industrial equipment where applicable
- Familiarity/experience in a distribution environment
