Monday-Friday 12:00PM-8:30PM. Overtime may be required based on volume.
Job Details- Shipping and Receiving: Unload and load trailers and verify proper stacking, ensure that freight is not mixed on pallets. Tape or stretch-wrap pallets as required to ensure product stability.
- Checking: Prior to product storage, count all product, compare counts to drivers’ manifest, check shipments for damage, infestation, and production code dates. Report shortages, damages, and misplacements to your supervisor. Move product to storage locations, stack and store appropriately, and verify receipt at appropriate temperature.
- Over, Short, and Damage: Identify and recover any received or shipping damage consistent with Company policy. Report shortages and overages to area supervisor.
- Inventory: Assist in physical inventories using scanners. Ensure proper stock rotation by following lot number identification.
- Order Picking: Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring correct quantity, type, and lot numbers match picking documents. Perform picking efficiently to meet customer service standards. Pallet heights can reach up to 7 feet.
- Loading: Efficiently move product from the staging or storage areas into railcars or trailers.
- Equipment: Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product using forklift, clamp truck, slip-sheet or other power equipment. Maintain facilities, equipment, and materials clean and orderly. Conduct daily inspections, verify equipment operates before start of activity, and report issues.
- Previous high reach forklift and warehouse training.
- Bend and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Lift up to 70 lbs occasionally with assistance.
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
- Speak and hear for safety and productivity.
- Use scanners, tablets, radio, phones, and other warehouse machinery.
- Lift overhead when required.
- Work overtime as required.
- Drive a registered motor vehicle.
- Have acceptable vision.
- Operate in temperature range of +50 to
-30°F with moderate noise levels. - High level of personal interaction and communication with others.
- Good arithmetic and reading skills.
- Understand and follow verbal and written instruction and company policies.
- Be a self-starter who can work independently and coordinate with others.
- Manage stress and productivity guidelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain a professional demeanor in appearance and communications at all times.
- Participate in staff and/or customer meetings as required.
- Take initiative to prevent non-conformities related to product, process, and quality systems.
- Identify and record any issues relating to product, processes, and/or quality.
- Propose and implement solutions through appropriate channels.
- Ensure solutions are effectively implemented.
- Follow posted security procedures at all times while in the building.
- Participate in safety and educational training programs.
