Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Receiving Clerk - 1st Shift at our Klockner Dr location in Richmond, VA.

Pay: $21.63 per hour.

Core hours: 7:00am–3:30pm.

• Systematically receive plant materials, identify items, and verify counts upon arrival.
• Maintain accurate records and document control for purchase orders, interfacility transfers, packing slips, and BOLs.
• Enforce hot list communications.
• Identify vendor parts.
• Enforce safety/company policies for truck drivers entering the facility.
• Operate power industrial trucks (forklift, electric pallet jack) as needed.
• Manage overdue receiving, vendor service logs, and research/escalate lost material transactions as needed.
• Identify, record, quarantine, elevate, and analyze root causes of damaged, unidentified, or incorrect receipts and problematic shipments.
• Understand the effects of received goods in the inventory system.
• Perform cycle counting as needed.
• Deliver non‑production materials.
• Maintain the labeling of product upon receipt.
• Develop or improve upon receiving procedures.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without out company sponsorship, now or in the future.
• No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50miles of the Richmond, VA location. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographic area limitation.

• 2+ years experience in shipping/receiving.
• Ability to work extended hours.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience.

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Proven analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment, get results and drive change through others.
• Effective oral and written communication skills as well as planning and organizational skills.
