Position: Nurse Practitioner with Hybrid Schedule
Location: Kilmarnock

Position: Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 am — 5:00 pm (with on‑call rotation)

Location: Post‑Acute Care Facilities within your community

Employment Type: Full‑Time, Permanent

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a supportive healthcare team dedicated to delivering high‑quality care in post‑acute settings. In this role, you’ll collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and medical directors to provide exceptional care for patients while enjoying a structured weekday schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and deliver exceptional patient care in post‑acute facilities.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and facility leadership to optimize outcomes.
  • Conduct patient rounds, write orders, and manage diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Document daily visit notes in an EMR system (dictation services available).
  • Maintain accurate professional records, billing, and reporting.
  • Provide care in alignment with facility policies, bylaws, and healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
  • Licensure/Certification: Active NP or PA license & DEA certification (required).
  • Experience: At least 1 year of NP/PA experience preferred.
  • Clinical background in Geriatrics, Internal Medicine, ICU, ER, Hospitalist, or General Practice strongly valued.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team setting.
