RN Nurse Educator

Regency Health & Rehabilitation Center – Yorktown

Seeking an RN for the Staff Development Coordinator position.

• Manages and provides required education to all staff.
• Administers and manages Hepatitis B vaccinations and PPD annual checks.
• Delivers patient assessment, infection control, IV therapy, and medication administration knowledge to staff.
• Works closely with HR to provide new‑hire orientation and evaluates ongoing educational needs for continuing education and required in‑service training.
• Identifies, assesses, and implements in‑service programs to ensure satisfactory performance of clinical skills and knowledge.
• Serves as Infection Control Nurse, reporting infection control practices to the Infection Control Officer and Administrator.

• Licensed RN.
• Minimum 2–4 years of nursing experience with clinical training experience.
• Expert knowledge of basic nursing skills (patient assessment, infection control, IV therapy, medication administration, etc.).
• Desire to teach and share knowledge.
• Ability to develop and teach CNA classes (support provided upon hire).
