Registered Nurse, RN Weekend On Call

Pay: $70,000 - $75,000 yearly depending on experience.

The Weekend On Call RN is normally scheduled to work on weekends and/or after hours on weekdays.

The RN is responsible for the nursing care of patients according to the physician's orders and for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the total patient care and nursing care plans for each patient.

• Scheduled to make patient visits each week; may resolve some issues by phone but many after‑hours/weekend calls require a visit.
• Available for work‑related phone calls throughout scheduled after‑hours and/or weekend hours; accept calls unless assisting a patient or on a call with a patient/family.

• Registered Nurse licensed in the state of operation.
• Required nursing experience; experience in hospice or home health preferred.
• Sound knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and patient family teaching.
