Salary: $84,418.00 – Commensurate with Experience (Pay Band
5). Eligible new hires may receive a $5,000 sign‑on bonus.

Location:

Piedmont Geriatric Hospital, Virginia.

• Supervise nursing staff on one of four treatment units.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and therapeutic program activities.
• Ensure delivery of patient care according to individual treatment plans.
• Act as point of leadership for a team of health care professionals; guide, coach, and evaluate staff.
• Utilize nursing process with knowledge of pharmacology, psychiatric disorders, and the physical, psychological, and social needs of psychiatric patients.
• Delegate nursing activities, supervise, and counsel nursing employees.
• Demonstrate competency as defined on Competency Assessment.

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Virginia State Board of Registered Nursing license.

• Preferred bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Med‑surg nursing experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Long‑term care and nursing home experience preferred.
• Experience working with electronic health records.
