The pay range for this position is $90, annually, set in good faith based on the responsibilities of the role, qualifications, and market conditions.

The Nurse Manager leads a team of dedicated RNs, LPNs, and Medication Aides in a residential substance use disorder treatment setting.

• Participate in planning, priority setting, and development/implementation of policies and procedures for health care activities that comply with facility and contractual requirements as well as State, DEA, and CARF standards.
• Support the development, provision, and evaluation of patient care according to the standards of nursing practice in the state of Virginia.
• Support recruitment/retention efforts for nursing services.
• Prepare/submit reports as requested.
• Conduct ongoing chart reviews to ensure compliance with Federal/State/regulatory requirements.
• Provide training, consultation and direction in dealing with difficult clients.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and grievance and appeals meetings.
• Participate in ongoing training per program/State/Federal requirements.
• Participate in ongoing in‑house training requirements.
• Provide education and training to new hires and current staff.
• Act as a facilitator of standard nursing practices.
• Perform rounds and standard nursing evaluation tests such as blood pressures, temperatures, drawing blood for laboratory testing; assess conditions; dispense medication as needed.
• Provide input into the daily and annual operations of the nursing department.
• Monitor nursing operations measures monthly.
• Perform other functions related to the position as required.

• Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Virginia.

• 1+ years of supervisory experience in an inpatient/residential substance use disorder treatment setting preferred.

• Supervisory skills required.
• Leadership skills in decision making and problem solving.
• Knowledge of CARF accreditation requirements.
• Knowledge of all aspects of holistic addiction treatment clinical care requirements.
• Ability to develop and implement holistic clinical program for patients with substance use disorder.
• Communicates effectively and works cooperatively with others.

• Full-time, 40 hours per week, Tuesday‑Friday 9:00am-7:00pm, some weekends, holidays and on‑call work required.
