Location: Carrsville
Role: Per-Diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) providing patient care in the Hampton Roads area.
Responsibilities- Collect patient data.
- Administer medications.
- Reinforce education.
- Provide wound and tracheostomy care.
- Supervise unlicensed staff.
- Collect specimens.
- Ensure equipment functionality.
- Call providers for orders.
- Coordinate patient care.
- Insert IV lines.
- Monitor intake and output.
- Respond to emergencies.
- Maintain narcotics logs.
- Aid with activities of daily living.
- Supervise patient activities.
- Perform proper hand hygiene.
- Position patients.
- Transfer and assist with mobility.
- Perform basic hygiene tasks.
- Record vital signs.
- Assist with feeding and personal care.
- Active LPN license.
- Minimum one year of facility-based experience.
- BLS/CPR certification.
- PPD within one year.
- Covid-19 vaccination or weekly testing.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand or walk for long periods without restrictions.
