Registered Nurse

Nurses on this unit care for adult patients who are acutely ill with a wide variety of medical problems. The patient population includes cardiac, neuro, renal, infectious disease, pulmonary, and more. As a Registered Nurse, you will be accountable for coordinating direct patient care and education. You will manage patients diagnosed with conditions such as hypertension, heart failure, stroke, and chronic respiratory failure.

You will perform special procedures, including insulin drips for DKA, pre/post cardiac catheterizations, and other cardiac care procedures. You will engage in multidisciplinary support with physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy. This role requires a commitment to adhering to safety protocols and standards of care. Weekend coverage is required every other Saturday with Sundays off. All applicants must comply with vaccine requirements unless medical or religious exemptions are provided.
