Medication Technician

Starting at $19, Evening & Overnight shifts available. Join Bickford Senior Living as a Medication Technician to support residents with compassion and dignity.

• Full-time employees eligible for medical, dental, vision, and voluntary products.
• Part-time employees (29 or fewer hours per week) eligible for Voluntary Life and Short-Term Disability.
• Benefits start the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment.

• Accurately follow the resident MAR to administer medications per Physician orders.
• Follow Bickford’s policies and the Six Rights of medication administration.
• Use the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for guidance on medication administration.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise care of non-licensed team members where appropriate.
• Demonstrate the Bickford Mission ‘Whatever it Takes’ to all team members on shift.

• Active Medication Technician Certification in good standing or at least one year of senior care experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Willingness to pursue additional training or education as required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and to use written and verbal communication effectively.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity or ability to learn Bickford’s eMAR system.
