- Number of Beds – 5 – able to expand to 6
- Number of Staff – 2 RNs when unit is open
- Type of staff:
- Day Shift – 1 charge, 1 RN (Second RN when unit is open)
- Night Shift – 1 charge, 1 RN (Second RN when unit is open)
- Patient Ratios – Depends on acuity and Volume
- Type of equipment – Giraffes, Pandas, Syringe Pumps, Hospira Pumps
- EMR – Meditech
Must have
: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
- Minimum of 2 years NICU experience at Level 2 or greater
- NRP skills to attend vaginal and c/s deliveries
Preferred or nice to have
: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
- STABLE Certification
- Nursing Certification within specialty
- IV Antibiotics, Dextrose infusions, TPN/Lipids, PO/NG feeds, Umbilical Line maintenance, Oxygen Support, Nasal CPAP, Surfactant administration assist, delivery attendance.
- Family centered care for mothers and families

CERTIFICATIONS:
- NRP, BLS
- Postpartum: to care for Well Newborns, NRN role in L&D at deliveries
