RN House Supervisor

Valley Rehab & Nursing Center in Chilhowie, VA is seeking a qualified individual to join our growing team in the role of Full-time, Night Shift RN Nurse Supervisor.

As the RN Nurse Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in our ability to continuously provide Care Beyond Compare through your exceptional leadership and supervision of the nursing team. You'll be instrumental in fostering a culture of excellence, ensuring adherence to protocols and best practices, and empowering our nursing team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care to every patient. Your guidance and support will be pivotal in maintaining our standards of excellence and enhancing the overall patient experience.

What you'll do

· Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff, ensuring high-quality care delivery.

· Oversee and coordinate resident care plans, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.

· Conduct regular assessments of residents' health status and update care plans as needed.

· Act as a resource for nursing staff, providing guidance and support.

· Assist in training and orientation of new employees.

· Handle any emergencies or issues that arise during shifts, following established protocols.

· Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident.

What you need

· Active Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice.

· Demonstrated leadership abilities with strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Highly organized and detail oriented.

· Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
