Hiring Range: $115,000 - $150,000

Actual pay depends on specialty, experience, and performance.

Riverside Medical Group is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our established primary care team at Eagle Harbor Primary Care in beautiful Carrollton, Virginia.

This is an outstanding opportunity to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in a collaborative practice environment supported by experienced providers and clinical staff.

As a valued member of Riverside Medical Group, you will play an integral role in delivering high-quality care while helping patients achieve their health and wellness goals.

Position Responsibilities The Advanced Practice Provider will:

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations

Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions across the lifespan

Assess patient health status and develop evidence-based treatment plans

Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies and laboratory testing

Prescribe medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with Virginia regulations and Riverside policies

Counsel and educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, preventive care, and disease management

Review and analyze diagnostic results and adjust treatment plans as appropriate

Manage wellness visits, preventive screenings, and follow-up care Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes

Accurately document patient encounters and clinical findings within the electronic medical record

Education Requirements Nurse Practitioner Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program

Current Virginia Nurse Practitioner license

Current Nurse Practitioner certification

Physician Assistant Master's Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program

Current Virginia Physician Assistant license

Licensure and Certification Requirements Nurse Practitioner Active Registered Nurse license in Virginia Active Virginia Nurse Practitioner license with appropriate specialty designation

National certification in applicable specialty:

Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC or FNP-C)
Physician Assistant Active, unrestricted Virginia Physician Assistant license

Current NCCPA certification

Prescriptive Authority Requirements Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain registration

Eligibility for Schedule II-VI prescriptive authority in the Commonwealth of Virginia Qualifications Ability  to make independent clinical decisions regarding patient care Experience diagnosing and treating common acute and chronic medical conditions

Working knowledge of managed care and Medicare populations

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Professional demeanor and appearance

Basic computer proficiency

Commitment to providing exceptional patient-centered care
