We are seeking an experienced Locums Neurosurgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide inpatient coverage in Richmond, Virginia. This isan excellent opportunity to join a collaborative neurosurgery team and provide post-procedural care to adult and geriatric patients.

Position Highlights

Schedule: Monday–Friday,8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Weekend Requirements: None
Setting: 100% inpatient
Patient Population: Adult and geriatric
EMR: Epic

Responsibilities

Providepost-procedural daily patient care
Perform inpatient rounding and ongoing patient management
Communicate with patients and families regarding treatment plans and care
Provide patient and family education
Collaborate closely with the neurosurgery team
Work alongsidean employed Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner
Participate incall coverage as required

Requirements

Board Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
Active Virginialicense required at the time of submission
Candidatesneeding to obtain a Virginia license will not be considered
Active BLS andACLS certifications required
Active DEA required
