Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Contract Assignment

Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting students as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a busy and nurturing school environment. We are seeking dedicated individuals to fill several LPN positions with full-time hours (37.5 per week), working closely with students who have various medical needs. Successful candidates will feel comfortable working with diabetic students, providing care for those who are medically fragile, and managing health needs such as seizures. Daily responsibilities also include hands-on tasks like assisting with toileting, diapering, g-tube management, tracheostomy care, and supporting students on bus rides. You'll play a valued role in the lives of students who depend on skilled, compassionate nursing care throughout their school day.

Qualifications & Desired

Experience:

• Active LPN licensure in Virginia (VA) is required.
• Previous experience as a school nurse, or working with pediatric populations, is strongly preferred.
• Ability to confidently support students with complex medical conditions (such as diabetes management, seizure response, g-tube and tracheostomy care).
• Compassionate, patient, and collaborative approach to working with students, staff, and families.
• Comfortable with daily tasks including toileting, diapering, bus riding, and delivering routine and urgent care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to function as part of an interdisciplinary educational team.
