Medication Technician

Brightview Senior Living is hiring a Medication Technician for our Memory Care neighborhood. In this role, you will safely administer medications, follow physicians' orders, and accurately document doses using eMAR systems. You'll closely observe residents with dementia, report changes to nursing staff, and support daily routines that promote comfort, dignity, and engagement. Working in a resident-first, team-focused environment, you will collaborate with care associates, assist with basic care tasks as needed, and help create a warm, secure, and compassionate home for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Administer oral, topical, and other prescribed medications to memory care residents per physician orders and community policies
• Use e
• MAR or paper MAR systems to accurately document medication administration and follow-up
• Monitor residents for side effects, behavioral changes, or health concerns and promptly report to nursing staff
• Support residents with dementia by following individualized care plans and using person-centered approaches
• Assist with basic resident care tasks and activities of daily living as needed
• Maintain medication carts, storage areas, and supplies in a safe, organized, and compliant manner
• Follow infection control, safety, and emergency procedures at all times
• Communicate effectively with nurses, caregivers, residents, and families to support coordinated care
• Participate in training, in-services, and team meetings to maintain competencies and support quality care
• Contribute to a warm, respectful, and engaging environment aligned with Brightview's resident-first culture
