Position:
Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU or Telemetry
Role and Responsibilities:Provide safe, high-quality care in an acute-care hospital setting by assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, monitoring cardiac rhythms, collaborating with healthcare teams, maintaining accurate electronic records, and educating patients and families. Ensure adherence to hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards while demonstrating professionalism and adaptability.
Qualifications and Skills:Active Virginia RN license, at least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years, current BLS and ACLS certifications, and a recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test. COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption is required. Additional credentials may be necessary based on specific assignments.
Key Duties- Deliver high-quality patient care in acute-care settings
- Monitor and respond to patient conditions and responses to treatment
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and specialized equipment
- Collaborate with medical teams and document care accurately
- Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
