ICU RN

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in ICU or Telemetry, providing per diem nursing care in a hospital setting.

• Deliver safe, high-quality patient care by assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions; administering medications, IV therapies, and treatments; monitoring cardiac rhythms and specialized equipment; collaborating with healthcare teams; maintaining accurate electronic records; following infection-control and safety protocols; educating patients and families; demonstrating professionalism and adaptability.

• Active Virginia RN license; at least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years; current BLS and ACLS certifications; recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test; COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption. Additional credentials may be required based on assignments.

• Acute-care experience, patient assessment, medication administration, cardiac monitoring, teamwork, adaptability, and professionalism.
