Position
Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU or Telemetry, Per Diem
Role OverviewProvide high-quality, safe patient care in an acute-care hospital setting. Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with healthcare teams. Maintain accurate electronic medical records, follow safety protocols, and educate patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver safe, high-quality care in ICU or telemetry units
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and use specialized equipment
- Assess, respond to, and document patient responses
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Follow hospital policies, infection-control, and safety standards
- Educate patients and families about care plans and discharges
- Active Virginia RN license
- Minimum of one year recent ICU or telemetry experience within the past two years
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within 12 months)
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
Flexibility in scheduling, competitive pay, and support from a dedicated staffing team. Opportunities to work as little as one shift per month with daily or weekly pay options. Mobile scheduling and a focus on professionalism and adaptability are emphasized.
