Role Overview:
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) specialized in ICU or Telemetry to join a local healthcare team for per diem hospital assignments in Halifax, VA.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver safe, high-quality patient care in an acute-care hospital environment
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and operate specialized medical equipment
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and follow safety protocols
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment and discharge instructions
- Demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, and adherence to infection-control standards
- Active Virginia RN license
- At least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within 12 months)
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
- Additional credentials may be required based on assignment
