Per Diem ICU RN

Role Overview:

This position is for experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) specializing in ICU or Telemetry care, offering flexible per diem shifts in Halifax, VA.

• Providing safe, high-quality care in an acute-care hospital setting
• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and specialized equipment
• Collaborating with healthcare teams and physicians
• Maintaining accurate electronic medical records
• Educating patients and families about treatments and discharge instructions
• Following infection-control and patient-safety standards
• Demonstrating professionalism and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

• Active Virginia RN license
• At least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within 12 months)
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
