Job Description:

Registered nurses whose responsibilities range from advanced level focusing in a specialty area of nursing to having either charge or supervisory responsibilities. Position includes RNC-A level of duty.

Pay Rate: $51.00/hr

• Scopeofworkrangesfromresponsibility for a nursingspecialtyarea, working supervisor tocharge nurse.
• Contactsaremadewith patients, staff nurses, supervisory,manager level nurses, physicians andother programormanagementstaff.
• Assignments range fromincreasedclinicalor administrativeresponsibilityto supervisionofregistered nurses,LPNsorother medical support staff.
• Mayperformclinicalresearch andstudy activities,developresearchprotocol, gather and analyzedata and prepare abstracts for publication.

• Workimpactsthe quality andeffectivenessof patient care.
• Oversightofnursingservicesis significant.
• Mayserve as pointofcontract for amedical specialty area withina nursing program.

• Responsibleformentoringanddeveloping others.
• Responsibleforguidanceand/or supervision of nursing, medical anddirect support staff.
• Mayassignstaff, evaluate clinical and administrative issues, and evaluate performance.
• Judgment isexercisedoverissuesof patient care and performanceofstaff.
