  • Pay or shift range: $32.99 USD to $55.56 USD
    The pay range reflects the current compensation range for this position at the time of posting. Individual offers are determined based on directly related experience, skills, education, internal equity, and other job-related factors. Not all candidates will qualify for the upper end of the posted range.

Responsible for coordinating clinical operations and patient care delivery across assigned practice locations. Provides clinical leadership, guidance, and expertise to ensure care is delivered efficiently, safely, and in alignment with Augusta Medical Group standards. Assists Medical Office Managers with quality assurance and performance improvement activities.

Education, Licensure/Certification, and Experience requirements:

Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program (LPN or RN) required

BSN or MSN preferred

Current valid LPN or RN license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia required

Membership in professional organization preferred

Specialty certification preferred

Minimum 3 years clinical experience in a medical office or ambulatory care setting required

Prior leadership, charge nurse, or preceptor experience preferred

  • Assisting the Medical Office Manager in recruiting, interviewing, and selecting qualified staff for practice(s)
  • Supports the coordination of staff development and clinical education activities
  • Conducts monthly routine staff meetings as appropriate in collaboration with the Medical Office Manager
  • Cultivates a culture of transparent communication and collaboration across all team members and stakeholders
  • Builds and remains strong, respectful working relationships with the practice(s) across Augusta Medical Group
  • Facilitates resolution of conflicts through constructive dialogue, empathy, and professionalism

Fiscal Management

  • Collaborates with the Director to monitor and review clinical budget components, including supply usage and staffing models, in alignment with Augusta Medical Group’s financial targets
  • Continually identifies areas for cost savings in clinical operations, such as reducing waste, optimizing use of medical supplies, and standardizing equipment utilization practices
  • Participates in supply inventory tracking and analysis to ensure efficient usage and prevent overstocking or stockouts, escalating significant variances or usage trends to Medical Office Manager
