Entegee Engineering is actively seeking a Quality Assurance Manager responsible for site QA system oversight, audit readiness, corrective actions, and SPC/KPI development supporting manufacturing and customer requirements. This is an onsite position in Altavista, VA.
Job Responsibilities- Manage site quality assurance operations and quality teams
- Maintain audit readiness and support customer and internal audit activities
- Lead and support quality problem investigations and resolution activities
- Oversee corrective action system activities, including CAR development, implementation, and effectiveness verification
- Oversee calibration program execution and compliance
- Develop and maintain manufacturing KPI and SPC tools for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
- Provide and present site quality KPI metrics for monthly S&OP meetings
- Coordinate with production areas to meet customer and internal requirements
- Direct process improvement activities through training, systems, equipment, and workflow updates
- Oversee customer claims, returns, credit approvals, and corrective action responses
- Maintain oversight of customer item connections within the ERP/QMS system
- Oversee specification creation, control, and upload to internal systems/intranet
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or scientific discipline
- 2–3 years of experience in the aerospace industry (other industries considered)
- Trained ISO 9001 internal auditor
- Experience supporting and participating in customer audits
- Experience developing SPC and control data tools and manufacturing reporting
- Experience overseeing QA systems including calibration, CARs, and PCRs
- Experience leading quality performance initiatives, manufacturing corrective actions, and continuous improvement
- Experience directing and assigning work within a Quality department
- Ability to perform site visits to customers, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Experience coordinating safety, quality, production, production scheduling, and equipment requirements
- Ability to wear required PPE; exposure may include fiberglass, dust, finishing fumes, and chemicals
