ANCOS is looking to hire a Quality Control Technician here at ANCOS in Disputanta, VA. The work schedule is currently planned to be Monday-Friday, 7a - 330p. This position will report directly to the Quality Manager.

Physical Requirements for the position:
- Perform quality control checks across all stages of production.
- Checking that production methods meet relevant specifications and/or SOPs.
- Conduct final sample testing before or after packing out to confirm that the material is within the customer's specification(s).
- Keeping accurate results of checks and tests carried out.
- Identifying inconsistencies and faults and finding the cause.
- Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency.
- Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and specifications.
- Assist with creating Certificates of Analysis/Production Reports for customers.
- Assist the Safety Manager by monitoring the production areas for safety issues.
- Perform other job-related duties as required.
- Solid understanding of production processes.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of inspection and/or production experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational skills and able to use Microsoft Word and Excel
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information.
- Must be able to stand for long periods.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
$22-$24/hour
