Responsibilities
- Coordinates, aids in and directs implementation of external and internal quality improvement programs
- Direct collaboration with the quality, operations and process engineering departments
- Lead by example - promote a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Drive safety improvements through risk identification and elimination
- Point of contact for specific internal plant quality improvement initiatives involving card manufacturing operations
- Primary resource for direct card customers, providing field support when needed
- Maintain and improve product and process quality
- Drive the corrective action process
- Conduct departmental audits to determine compliance to SOPs
- Chemical or Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university
- Four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
