Position: Inspector - Level 4 (1st shift and every other weekend)

Overview

As an Inspector - Level 4 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our aerospace products and services. Your expertise will help maintain the high standards that our customers expect from us in the aerospace industry. You will report directly to our Quality Assurance Manager, and you’ll work out of our Distribution Center Rocky Mount, NC location on an on-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the overall quality assurance and control processes, ensuring that our products meet regulatory and safety standards, ultimately contributing to the safety and reliability of aerospace operations worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed inspections of aerospace components and assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Document inspection results and communicate findings to engineering and production teams for corrective actions.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments and testing equipment to verify product conformity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives in quality and manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements during inspection activities.
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Proven experience in aerospace inspection or a related quality assurance role with a focus on detailed product evaluation.
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace industry standards, inspection techniques, and quality control processes.
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
  • Experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements relevant to aerospace manufacturing and inspection.

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace inspection or quality assurance roles.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience with quality management systems such as AS9100 and ISO standards.
