Job Summary:

The Leasing Agent is the property s sales representative whose primary duties are to greet prospects, to present professionally the features and benefits of their assigned community and property, and secure lease agreements from qualified persons. A Leasing Agent is service oriented and strives to make current residents and prospective residents feel welcome and comfortable in their community.

Summary of

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conducts all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other laws pertaining to apartments
• Maintain a professional, but friendly atmosphere in the leasing office and throughout the community
• Inspects models and  market ready  vacancies daily
• Answers incoming phone calls and handles each call professionally
• Greet prospective residents, determine their needs and preferences, and professionally present community and show apartments suitable to the prospect s needs while communicating features and benefits
• Maintain daily property advertising materials
• Accurately and promptly complete all paperwork related to prospective applications and leases
• Accept rents and deposits
• Helps to ensure the physical well-being and curb appeal of the apartment community

Qualifications:

• Positions requires good leasing and closing skills and have at least 2 years of selling experience
• Person must be able to type 30 WPM
• Prefer at least 2 years of customer service
• Person must be organized
