Job Description

Ensure proper training and supervision of all personnel to deliver prompt, courteous service in a manner that complies with Omni Food & Beverage standards and company policies and procedures. Be the Manager on Duty in the absence of a Food & Beverage Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Perform daily and monthly inventories.
  • Ensure proper tray set up procedures.
  • Monitor guest room floors to ensure a smooth day-to-day operation.
  • Participate in Room Service sales promotions.
  • Monitor and respond appropriately to feedback from guests.
  • Be creative with enhancing or upgrading amenities.
  • Create amenities for sales promotions.
  • Review food and beverage preparation for quality and presentation.
  • Follow prepared upselling scenarios to encourage additional sales.
  • Provide approximate delivery times for orders.
  • Prepare payment of checks.
  • Maintain knowledge of the food menu and wine list.
  • Adhere to all liability laws.
  • Print reports at the end of the shift and complete banking procedures.
  • Have knowledge of minibar systems, including stocking and ordering products.
Qualifications
  • Previous Food & Beverage experience, preferably in hospitality.
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong leadership, development and training abilities.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Food Handler and TABC certification required.
