POSITION DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE: Food Service/Monitor Positions

FLSA: Non-Exempt

REPORTS TO: Director

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Contingent Upon Position

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS for all food services positions including cafeteria monitors:

• High school diploma or GED Equivalent desired.
• Cooking experience in commercial or institutional food service operation desired.
• Ability to work well with students and staff.
• Highly motivated.
• Self-starter; able to work independently.
• Capable of performing moderately heavy physical tasks necessary to doing the job.

Additional qualifications for Manager position when available:

• S trong organizational skills; able to coordinate multiple tasks at one time.
• Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook)
• Able to operate personal computer, laptop computer, peripheral computer equipment, photocopier, fax machine, and other office equipment with a high degree of skill.
