Massanutten Military Academy is seeking dependable, hardworking, team-oriented individuals to join our Food Service Department. We are currently hiring for full-time and part-time positions supporting our dining hall and campus community.
We offer a team-focused work environment serving students, faculty, and staff on our historic boarding-school campus.
Utility/Server – Part Time
The Utility/Server supports daily dining hall operations by maintaining clean and sanitary dining and kitchen areas while assisting with food service and preparation.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized dining room.
- Clean and sanitize dining hall equipment, tables, floors, restrooms, and other assigned areas.
- Remove trash and waste and maintain designated disposal areas.
- Operate, load, and unload commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Operate washers and dryers as assigned.
- Assist with basic food preparation and meal service.
- Follow all health, sanitation, safety, and food-handling requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe workstation.
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, rotating, and properly storing food and supply deliveries.
- Perform other Food Service duties as needed.
Schedule:
Part-time position. Weekend availability is required.
Qualifications:
- At least one year of cooking or food-service experience preferred.
- Dependable and willing to perform a variety of food service and cleaning duties.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Serv Safe or food-handler certification is a plus.
