The Pharmacy Cashier is responsible for supporting retail pharmacy operations by providing excellent customer service and accurately processing transactions. This role assists with front‑end operations, inventory of over-the-counter (OTC) products, and maintaining a clean and organized retail environment.

• Greet customers and provide courteous, professional service
• Accurately process transactions including cash, credit, and other forms of payment
• Maintain and balance cash register and related documentation
• Assist customers with OTC product location and general inquiries
• Stock, order, and maintain appropriate levels of OTC inventory
• Ensure retail area is clean, organized, and properly merchandised
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
• Support pharmacy staff with non-clinical tasks as needed
• Demonstrate flexibility and ability to function in a fast‑paced environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Performs duties under general supervision
• Focuses on customer service and front‑end retail operations
• Does not perform pharmacy technician duties or medication preparation
• Maintains accuracy in cash handling and transactions

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience:
  
  Previous cashier or retail experience preferred
• Licensure/

• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods throughout the workday
